In this domain you find themes, which either do not fit in one of the preceding domains, or can not clearly be assigned to a certain domain. For example themes for managing master data for several themes.

Cross section assignements

With this theme profiles defined for the current tunnel can be assigned to specific sections of the tunnel. The same profile can be assigned multiple times. This assignment of profiles to sections of the tunnel is use by 2doc to calculate excavation areas and is used in various other calculations that i.e. calculation of shotcrete amount from shotcrete thickness. The definition of profiles can be done by the user by simply importing the profile line from DXF or DWG formats.

Construction phases advance

Baufortschrittdokumentation in 2DOC This theme is used to document the advance status of each construction phase, whereas a construction phase can be a cutdown or other measures like construction of the inner shell. Advance status data can be imported from several file formats or can be entered manually. From the stored advance status data 2doc creates an advance status chart for all defined construction phases or a GIS visualization that depicts the current advance status. Data stored within this theme is used in numerous other themes to evaluate data in combination with the advance status. I.e. the amount of water collected in the tunnel can be correlated with the advance status, data from subsurface 3D displacement measurements can be visualized as influence line diagrams based on these advance status data.

Surface objects

Before, while and after driving a tunnel various objects (houses, infrastructure buildings, etc.) on the surface above the tunnel get special attention especially when driving shallow tunnels. Surface settlements may damage buildings, various environmental factors like vibrations or noise are often monitored at specific objects on the surface. This theme allows the documentation of these objects and provides the possibility for storing data from evidence securing, inspections and damage documentations. The theme is also the basis for various other themes to assign the data collected with these themes to specific objects.

Longitudinal section images

A lot of data coming from other software systems or manual data preparation exists as logitudinal sections. A prominent example for these kind of data is the nearly always available geological prognosis. With the theme Longitudinal sections 2doc allows you to include those data iin form of images coming from either AuroCAD DWG or Bitmap formats in your 2doc database. The included images are georeferenced and can therefore be stringed together seamlessly and cut exactly in tunnel tape printouts.

Exploration drillings

Erkundungsbohrungen in 2DOC With the theme exploration drillings 2doc allows you to document data coming from drillings that are done in course of driving the tunnel to explore the conditions of the surrounding rock mass or earth. Each exploration drilling is exactly positioned in the tunnel and the exact direction of the drilling can be documented. Data for the exploration drilling can be input manually (different geological parameters, annotations, images). Data coming from the boring machine can be imported.

Image Objects

Almost every 2DOC theme offers the possibility to store several pictures. To generate a picture collection out of these pictures, store3d on different locations, 2DOC offers the theme Image Objects. It is possible to select themes, out of which pictures are used to form the collection.
