Several themes are available for sweeping documentation of surface drillings. One theme is used to manage the master data of the drillings. All other themes - coping special readings or observations - use this master data. So simple and consistent collection of drillings data is guaranteed.

Often drillings take place in the context of ater evidence. Therefore data from gauges and wells can be collected. Adidditional aims of groundwater lowering can be defined and displayd in time-way diagrams to observe the actual state of affairs.

Also geological values of the driolling can be entered into 2DOC. Starting with lithology, the annular space, finishing, ground water analysis and even core images, 2DOC offers a wide range of possibilities to document drillings.

Geotecnical parameters, such as piezometerdata, borehole extension and temperature can also be collected in 2DOC.

Drilling Master Data

Stammdaten von Bohrungen in 2DOC The theme drilling master data holds general information about a drilling and is especially used for hydrological evidence conservation. It allows historical storage of data (different versions over time) like owner data etc. and is the base for numerous evaluations in the field of evidence conservation.

Drilling Hydrology

Grafische Darstellung von Bohrungen in 2DOC With the theme drilling hydrology 2doc provides functionality to collect data from gauges and pumps within a drill hole. With numerous graphical evaluations this theme allows the evaluation of gauge levels and monitoring of the effects of a draw down. 2doc supports multiple gauges and pumps per drill hole and is able to assign each pump or gauge to different aquifers. Besides different charts over time showing the trend of gauge levels and pumped amount of water, a visualization of geological features together with the trend of gauge levels and pumping amount and different isoline charts are provided. Data for gauges and pumps can be input manually or imported from various file formats.

Hydrological Drilling Groups

With the help of this theme drillings can be combined in groups and data of all drillings in a group can then be evaluated together. The theme is especially useful for draw downs where drillings are usually combined in groups and data of these groups (total amount of pumped water etc) is usually also important for billing. Amount of pumped water, draw down aims, ground water level as well as difference between water level and draw down aim of the drillings in a group can be visualized as isoline diagrams. of course 2doc supports documentation of data in multiple aquifers - that is multiple gauges and pumps per drill hole.

Drilling Geology

This theme allows documentation of geological properties of a drilling. 2doc provides a large number of possibilities to document the various parameters typically collected for a drilling - e.g. lithological properties, ground water observations, core photos, annular space, installations, etc. Each ground water observation can be completed with data coming from samples and analyses.

Borehole extension

Borhehole extension (e.g. measured using DEX probes) can be documented and evaluated in 2doc. For each drill hole any number of probes can be managed. The resulting extension/time diagrams can be combined with data from piezometer and borehole probes.

Piezometer

Especially when driving a tunnel under difficult hydrological situations, piezometer probes provide valuable information for managing the drive. 2doc allows structured documentation of piezometer data. In each drill hole any number of probes can be managed and evaluated in 2doc. In evaluations (like reports or charts) data of piezometers can be combined with data coming from the 2doc themes drilling temperature and drill hole extension.

Borehole Temperature

Measuring of temperature in a drill hole is especially useful when evaluating data together with data from other 2doc themes. 2doc allows collection of data for any number of temperature sensors in a drill hole.
