2DOC is a software for managing and analyzing data collected in the course of a tunnel project. 2DOC integrates data from different disciplines and serves as a platform for cooperation in the construction team.

The technical need for commitment to quality and risk management as well as contractual and legal regulations require an almost complete documentation and timely evaluations of the data collected. This encloses geological heading face documentations, evaluations from displacement measurements and geotechnical measurements, TVM sensor data as well as information from the evidence of groundwater and  the variety of data from evidence on the surface. The steadily increasing amount of data creates a situation in which, although theoretically more information in the form of data is available, the generation of knowledge from this information needs more and more time.

This is where 2DOC becomes an issue. As a databased multi-user system 2DOC provides the technological prerequisites for efficient and structured datamanagement, A basis for timely and with minimal effort createable reports and a platform for communication and datatransfer in a team. This will ensure that information is available at any time and in the correct form.

The goal of 2DOC is to provide tools for each department  to manage and analyze data and thus deliver the basis for timely interpretations For the builders construction management, site supervision and the local building and construction companies the major advantage of 2DOC is the cross-disciplinary analysis of data. For the owner the structured storage of data is of particular value, especially in terms of documentation and traceability.

So 2DOC is equally used by builders, local construction supervision, construction companies and individual specialists. The expenses amortize quickly through increased efficiency and time savings.
