2DOC contains a full-featured GIS engine, wich primarily is used on surface themes. The GIS engine is used for visualization as well as for manipulation of data. Definition of project regions, surface objects, selection and grouping of measurement points and much more is child’s play thanks to the GIS engine. Data shown as isolines, with building outlines and map, enable meaningful interpretations.

Of course the different layers in the GIS view can be shown or hidden and all available surface information can be displayed, e.g. site plans, orthophotos, administrative regions, quadrants, etc. Also the tunnel axis and the advance status can be visualized on the GIS view.

A wide variety of options provides detailed configuration of the GIS view, to meet the users needs. Compatibility with the SHP format guarantees simple data transfer from and to other information systems.
