2DOC is a comprehensive and very  flexibly deployable software system. Each 2DOC installation is unique and tailored to suit the needs of each tunnelling project. In general 2DOC is licensed per tunneling project, whereby this project may consist of several tunnels and surface regions. We would be glad to submit an individual offer to you.

License model and costing

The determination of the costs Is due to the following factors:

 

1. Total length of the tunnel structures to be documented: The cost of 2DOC comply with the total length of all the tunnels contained in the construction project. So 2DOC can be used on smaller and big construction projects with costs at a reasonable level.
2. Duration of tunnelling work: For the duration of tunnelling work a maintenance agreement has to be concluded, which garantees best possible support service and latest software updates.
3. Used 2DOC themes: The themes used determine to a large extent the available range of functions and hence significantly affect the cost.
4. Specific license options: Beside the 2DOC themes also license options can enhance the range of functions, e.g. automatisation and multilingualism.
5. Suport model: Pöyry offers a wide range of support models, suited to the real needs of the building site (telephone, remote support, email, on-site support).
6. Configuration: Even if 2DOC offers all tools and possibilities of configurating the 2DOC system, it often makes sense to have 2DOC configurated by Pöyry to benefit from the experience of many other projects. This way you can start using an optimal configured 2DOC system from the first day.
7. Adaptions: To fit the very needs of the building site it is possible to develop individual 2DOC themes ore other enhancements and customizations.
8. Trainings: Trainings are one of the major factors for acceptance and efficiency of using 2DOC. The number of trainings is essentially based on the used themes and the number of 2DOC users. On smaller sites typically two ore three training days are sufficient, on large-scale projects significantly more training days throughout the whole project duration should be expected.

Pöyry provides the following services optionally:

 

• Advice: The introduction of 2DOC as centralized analysis and documentation tool will have some effects on the whole work process, from planning and prognosis all the way to the completion of the project in order to ensure the best possible use of the system. For example it is advisable to formulate bidding texts in such way, that data which is planned to be managed by 2DOC is delivered in digital form, at best through direct data import to 2DOC. Pöyry advises the management of tunneling projects in all questions regarding data- and workflowmanagement and pays close attention to the collection and evaluation of data with the aim of maximum efficiency and increased economic viability.
• Hosting: Optionally 2DOC can be installed as remote service on a Pöyry Application Server. This substantially reduces the administration expenses. 2DOC can be run from any computer with broadband internet access.
• Data manager: Due to increased data volumes, a plurality of digital interfaces and workflows, management of resulting issues by adequately educated people is becoming much more important. Thanks to the many years of experience Pöyry can provide experts in this kind of services, who can accompany the site in terms of data technology design on a weekly basis or also on a day-to-day basis to ensure smooth running of the construction project.
